6/25/17 – Chris Estes Blues Band

Chris writes all of his music, which he says comes “outta the blue.” His musical talents come either from his father, who played trumpet for a big band, or as Chris might tell you, he could very well be the soul partner of Black Country blues artist Sleepy John Estes. Chris tutored his harmonica licks with the help of Phill Wiggins and Arthur Moore. He was influenced by the British Bluesmen until his high school friend Mark Weisgram turned him on to what Chris refers to as ‘Real Blues’, with the likes of Muddy Waters, Little Walter, Lightin’ Hopkins, Robert Johnson, and Sonny Boy. Chris writes and plays from his gut. He says, “It’s a feeling that comes from my emotions and personal experiences”. Visit Website, Myspace Page,Youtube

Copper Ridge is an Outlaw Country band from the Pacific Northwest. Forging a group of highly talented and experienced musicians and singers they have quickly made a name for themselves while proving that the roots of original country music are here to stay. Always upbeat, always with a driving, danceable rhythm, the term “outlaw country” was adopted by the band to define the mix of old country, new country, and rock’ n roll flavored country that fills their set lists. Copper Ridge is not just a “band”, they are a “family”, and this love of what they do conveys itself to their audience!

7/23/17 – Bigfoot Mojo

Upright bassist Belinda Underwood and national mandolin champion Josiah Payne met on the bluegrass scene in Portland as hired hands in other award-winning bands. Musicians in multiple genres since childhood, they both grew up in family bands before moving to Oregon, and were feeling orphaned without their families until they found each other in 2012.
Josiah and Belinda continue to mesmerize audiences with groove-based melodies and impeccable vocal harmonies (the kind that sound genetically-blended), setting a new standard for original music which defies genre boundaries. Bigfoot Mojo plays with other amazing guest musicians to create a trio which includes world-traveling guitarist Pete Kartsounes. Visit Website
