Music on the Willamette – Arcane Cellars at Wheatland Winery

Come out to the winery and enjoy great wine, friendly company, and fabulous music in a beautiful setting right on the Willamette River! On concert days we’re open from 12 noon – 5 pm. Music will typically run from 1 – 4 pm. We offer a covered patio with table and chair seating for about 125 patrons. On busy days it may be a good idea to bring your own lawn chairs.

In addition to our wines we are pleased to offer soft drinks, Oregon Craft Brews, and food truck service. (No tasting menu on concert days – glass and bottle purchases only.)

Take a look at our upcoming schedule and plan a special day out near the river. We also offer a Bocce ball court, horse shoes and you just might want to take a nice stroll right out to the river’s edge. Camping is also available. Cover fee is $5 per person, but always free for Cellar Club Members!

5/13/18 – Briana Renea

Sunday May 13 is Mother’s Day, and we’ve got some good times for you! Besides wonderful music, we’ve got a special Mother’s Day Sip & Paint class from 1 – 4 pm, as well as a jewelry trunk show from artist Sarah Henke and her Soul State of Mind jewelry collection. Briana Renea comes by her country roots naturally, growing up on a rural farm in Canby, Oregon in the heart of the Pacific Northwest.  You can’t miss fiery haired Briana’s high-energy when she performs.  Her musical style is greatly influenced by her childhood growing up on 80’s rock and 90’s country.  Her music blurs the lines between pop rock and country. She recently released a new EP Chasin’ Trouble”, which placed in the Top 40 for the Nashville Songwriters Association International’s (NSAI) second quarter of 2016.  Off of her first EP “Red Lips White Lies” her song “Dirt Side” was chosen for the top 12 Best of NSAI Spring Training award. 5/27/18 – The Ted Vaughn Blues Band

It’s Memorial Day Weekend and we’ve got some great music for you! We’ve also got camping in the vineyard over the three days. Bring your tent or RV and enjoy the scenic beauty of our special location close to the Willamette River. Email jeff@arcanecellars.com for more info.

Texas bluesman Ted Vaughn, currently based in Oregon, fronts this group of award-winning blues pros – Soul Fixn’ Blues, with decades of recording and performing under their belts. The band’s raucous, high energy live performances have gained legions of fans worldwide, electrifying blues lovers at some of the largest festivals in the country as well as smaller, more intimate venues.

6/10/18 – Skybound Blue


Fronted by married duo Matt and Jenny Behnke, Skybound Blue is harmony-driven, foot-stomping, dig deep and tell the story in your bones kind of music. They’re charming, funny, real and the chemistry onstage is synced in a way typically only seen in acts as polished as Milk Carton Kids or First Aid Kit. 6/24/18 – Joe Stoddard


One of our patrons’ all-time favorites, Joe’s unique blend of music and comedy is so dangerously funny that his show comes with the warning, “People have been known to laugh the lips right off their faces.” Along with his great sense of humor comes a deep, rich baritone voice that adds to the mix and completes this high energy music and comedy experience. Joe has performed with such greats as the Beach Boys, Ricky Nelson, Pat Boone, Loretta Lynn, the Oak Ridge Boys, and many more. He’s been performing his own brand of musical comedy coast to coast for over twenty-five years. 7/8/18 – Paula Byrne Quartet

Paula Byrne’s voice sounds like chilled champagne on a hot summer day. She moves easily between songs that are lush and beautiful to highly rhythmic, wild rides. Her sense of humor, revival of obscure songs and new twists on old standards keeps the audience engaged and enraptured. Born to a jazz drummer (father) and figure skater (mother), she has been a lover of music and movement since birth. Paula teaches dance locally and internationally, and has been a moving force in the dance scene in Portland since 1996. “Paula’s singing is a dose of sophisticated elegant phrasing, with a southern charm and bit of soulful blues mistress thrown in. 7/22/18 – The FlexTones

The FlexTones have been entertaining folks throughout the mid-Valley for over 20 years.  Jon Chinburg (drums/vocals), together with Rick Burch (bass/vocals) founded The FlexTones on the idea that ‘variety is the spice’ that keeps a band’s sound fresh and interesting. They manage a song list that covers popular American music from the 50s to the present, including blues, rock, country, R & B and soul. The FlexTones loves to sing, and encourages everyone to join in the fun. 8/5/18 – Amos True and The Easy Targets


Corvallis-based Amos True and The Easy Targets mine the rich vein of the roots of rock n’ roll from the late 50s and early 60s, including Buddy Holly, Elvis, Chuck Berry, The Everly Brothers and more. Beside the familiar hits you’ll be introduced to many lesser known gems from this creative era right up to a splash of surf tunes and the Lads from Liverpool. 8/19/18 – Bigfoot Mojo

Upright bassist Belinda Underwood and national mandolin champion Josiah Payne met on the bluegrass scene in Portland as hired hands in other award-winning bands. Musicians in multiple genres since childhood, they both grew up in family bands before moving to Oregon, and were feeling orphaned without their families until they found each other in 2012.Josiah and Belinda continue to mesmerize audiences with groove-based melodies and impeccable vocal harmonies (the kind that sound genetically-blended), setting a new standard for original music which defies genre boundaries.
